W00T!!! IT’S HERE!!!

I got my DBP1 and it’s beautiful.

The upper right tusk is loose, but I’ll fix that later with a dab of glue. The right-most tooth in the bottom of the mouth is missing, but I don’t really care.

He sent about 49 dreads with it:
5 large w/ rings; originally 6 but one ring broke when I tried to adjust it.
5 large w/o rings; originally 4, read above
10 small w/ rings
29 small w/o rings

There are a couple of flaws on the left cheek, but it’s still amazing.
It’s hotter in this than any other mask I’ve worn, I’ll tell you that. Still fun, though.

the third is the whole thing. It’s a lot of dreads, huh?

About an hour after the first 3 were taken we had all of the dreads put in. My mom had to do a bit of cutting, as only 5 or 6 of the 36 holes were cut out.

While $70 is prety cheap, my parents didn't thank so

I'm going to play around tonight an dsee if I can get the dreads to flow better. It looks like he hasn't combed his hair in a week.


Tomorrow night I'm goign to wear this on the porch when I hand out candy. Should be promising.

The guy originally paid like $150 for it, so I think it was a good steal

I couldn’t wait until tomorrow. I had to throw this stuff on tonight:

The first is the whole thing. Notice the feet, as I put a crapload of work into these

The next is a cloesup, which my mom insisted on (ugh!) I might make it may avatar on the Lair

Finally is a pretty cool unmasked shot. I just love the expression of “I’ll kill you in a heartbeat” that I have on my face. It’s also the same look I have when I wear the mask.

Oh, I have to ask:
How can I improve my vision in this? It's like looking through a peep-hole.
I thought of trimming the holes, but I'm kind of afraid that I'd ruin it.

Please help me, as the last thing I want is to go out tomorrow and fall flat on my face, step on a child, bvreak a claw on the feet, or....did I say fall on my face?

Also, has anyone used a voice changer with their suit? I can barely hear myself, so I can imagine that I'm practically mute to other people.

Did you buy that from Keith? I painted that mask for him and I think I charged him around 50 for painting it and shipping it back to him. If you only paid 70 you got a heck of a deal.

A quick pic of me earlier. It was fun when I was handign out candy. I was sitting still long enough that people thought I was a prop. I had enough out there that it made sense, too. If I so much as turned my head a franction of an inch, people saw it and freaked.
It was fun to be recognized, unlike last year when I got called Michael Jackson, Zorro and a gay pimp while wearing my "V for Vendetta" costume.

I lost a tooth partway throught he night. Turns out the mouth hole isn't good from stuffing candy through.
I re-attached it, but all I could use was model glue intended for polystyrene. I hope I didn't screw it up, I just wanted to get it fixed.

Nope, got it from a guy in Arkansas named Jeremy via one of my other message boards.

Since you painted it, I'm curious about how you did the spots and several other areas. The quality is just mind blowing for me.
