Hey guys!

As many of you know I have decided to take my time finishing my Iron Man build. I didn't want to rush and ruin all of my work.

Instead I've decided to put together a Batman costume for Halloween.

It's going to be an Comic Hybrid with touches of Begins, etc.

Here is a list of things I plan to use...

Cowl: Reevz666 Arkham Cowl :) Coming Tomorrow!
Compression Suit: East Bay Charcoal Gray
Gloves: Motocross gloves with armored knuckles
Gauntlets: Foam/Plastic Scratch build... Arkham/Begins style
Boots: Gotham 100's for now.
Cape: Bought of Evilbay. Good quality and weight.. hangs great and is long.
Belt: Army pouch style belt.
Buckle: Scratch built... Arkham inspired.
Emblem: Foamies... Arkham
Muscle suit: Heavily modified cheesy Halloween muscles. I want to upgrade pending the cost of this.

Here are a few pics I've taken so far.

Got the cowl!!!! Fits great. Need to do a bit of trimming around eyes but other than that it is golden. Sorry for the ****ty pics. I'll have better ones later. Just wanted to see it with the cape on. I don't have any padding on in these pics. I also have a urethane chest and shoulder piece coming from Shawn Reevz. Going for a more normal proportion look.

Re: W.I.P. Batman Costume - Arkham/Comic Hybrid - Pics!

Thanks guys! And Mig... it's a Reevz666 AA cowl. I wrote that in first post.

That cowl is Kick@$$ - You look AWESOME, dude! You make a killer Batman! :thumbsup

...however, since you're in the kitchen can you whip me up some 'Justice with a side order of spaghetti?'

Re: W.I.P. Batman Costume - Arkham/Comic Hybrid - Pics!

Got the new chest/shoulder piece in. Compliments of Shawn Reevz. Did a really quick and dirty fitting to see how it looked. I haven't padded the shoulder pieces yet but will so the compression shirt doesn't push them down as much.

Pic is below. However I have a question or two. I have large gaunts with big fins.. how do you guys deal with that with the cape and all. They keep getting stuck and I really want to have that closed cape look. Do I need to go with a fabric gauntlet?

Thanks bro. I prefer this more natural look compared to the stay puff look I had before.

Re: W.I.P. Batman Costume - Arkham/Comic Hybrid - Pics!

Okay guys. So I'm scrapping those gaunts and doing a pleather soft version for ease of movement inside the cape. I did however suit up minus gaunts and the chest symbol. Pics below.
