Voldemort Robe help

I was wonderin if anyone had any info on Voldemort's robe. I'm getting one made because I dont like the fabric on the museum replica one and though I have photos of the robe itself, i dont have anything a little more in depth.

I was wondering if anyone had or can do a quick doodle of a pattern. Not an actual full size pattern, but just a drawing of what the layout would actually look like. I'm still tryin to figure out how many pieces its in. Any help would be fantastic

Unless you're going to use about 50 meters of fabric, like the original costume, you'll probably never actually need to know how many pieces there were. That crazy amount of fabric just isn't realistic for most costumers. I suggest that if you have never drafted your own pattern before, that you buy a commercial pattern that resembles what you want, and modify it to your specifications to get the "look". I can help you Hinky, I'm a fashion designer so I know how to draw patterns or whatever you like, but robe is VERY complicated and tricky but I'll do it anyway, PM if you need my help
