I always thought Spader should do Marvin the robot from hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. He wouldn't be depressed but just really annoyed with how stupid people are and how petty they can get. Just stop for a sec and imagine Marvin in Spader's voice. Alan Rickman knocked it out of the park, I'm not denying that. But, Spader as Ultron works because he makes Ultron so elitist and smug. Ultron is Marvin but with a bent towards universal domination.
