Vinyl Holochess Pieces by X-plus

It looks like this Japanese company, X-plus, is preparing to release their rendition of the holochess pieces. They're 1:1 with the actual puppets, and not their on-screen versions. Two characters will be released monthly from this April to July. Now we need a holochess table. Although I'm not so sure that my kids will be fond of playing chess with these guys.

They seem way too big to be 1:1.

Just look at the photos in the link.

Over a decade ago a dude here on the RPF made a few of the characters in resin.
I've got "The Big Guy" and he's only about 6 or 7 inches high.

They're not 1:1 . It said it in the link. They said they are the puppet size

It's too bad they're not 1:1. I'm not sure what puppet sized means but anything over 6" seems over done and a bit awkward for collecting.
Just my two cents.

They're the same size as the original stop-motion puppets that were used to shoot the footage for that scene in the film.
