Have you seen David Fisher's ModelMania videos? He has great flesh/skintone tricks. They are a bit early 90s, but really informative.

Looking good.
I would consider brushbrushing different shades of brown onto the hair to make it look less flat, and consider a couple of washes of different shades to the skin to make it look less monochrone.
Do his eyes have the iris, or is it just white with a black pupil?
Han's gunbelt should be brown (not black), the big hexagonal buckle right at the front should be silver/gunmetal, and his shirt should be more of a cream colour (not white). All easy fixes.
A good tip for painting up any model is to get as much good reference material as possible and have it right there in front of you as you paint. I know I've painted things up by memory and had to go back and change things because I remembered it wrongly. Train you eyes to decern different (but very similar) colours and what colours things are made up of - look at bark, rust, lizard skin and think about how many different colours you can spot in something that at first looks a single colour. That difference in your own painting will make a world of difference. :thumbsup
