Looking good...my only critique is the wood color. Generally, they're a brownish color. Might be the light?

Its is brown, but with a reddish tone. One of the stains was red chestnut. I've still tweaking that part so I'll try to tone down the red

Cut a few "brass" detail parts tonight

Swivel mount added. Just gotta rough it up a bit.

Added detail to hammer cover as well as 'safety latch'

Yeh, no matter how much paint you use, the grain still shows through! Normally I would use PVC plastic for something like that, but I had no plastic dowels to attach it to, and wood doesn't adhere to PVC well. Once it becomes a display, and not being jostled around, I'll replace that
