Nice to see but surprising since Shaw and Dreyfuss were at loggerheads during the production. Bygones I guess since Shaw passed away so long ago and so young. Good for Dreyfuss.

They had their "moments" while filming Jaws, but in every interview I've seen or read in which Shaw was mentioned Dreyfuss seemed to have a great deal of respect for him.

Again, I think it's a case of bygones and Dreyfuss being generous because Shaw died, although I have no doubt he respected Shaw, who apparently wasn't the nicest guy when drunk, which he was a lot.
