Video review of the "Super Elite" 1/18 1966 Batmobile

Wow, that guy in the vid must be a real gorilla! He makes that thing look tiny!

I've said it since 1989- All the other Batmen may have cooler costumes, but Adam West still has the coolest ride! :):thumbsup

I have one of these on order, too. Looks nice. I also have some upgrade parts that I hope to eventually put onto a standard version I have. Just need to find the time. Nice to see this car get the attention it deserves!

I saw the video yesterday on the site... I think it's a shame that Mattel dropped the ball on this. Why wouldn't you go the extra mile to make the car look like it did in '66? Baffles me. There are plenty of guys who could have been great resources on it, and Mattel took the easy way out.
The best '66 car is still going to have to be a customized version of one of these, but not until some aftermarket canopies are done! (rears are completely wrong!)

Who knows, maybe they didn't drop the ball.
But know the market well, and that this As She Is Today version will sell like crazy.
Then come out with the accurate to 1966 TV era version later and sell a bunch more.

Thanks for posting the video, CessnaDriver.

I only have the standard version, and I was curious on how much better this version must be, considering the price disparity.

For sure go for the "elite" version.
I have both regular and the "elite", and the elite is worth the extra scratch for sure. But do not pay more then $100.00 for it.
I took my regular version to work to display in the office.

Still waiting for my "super elite" to ship, but I really do not think it is worth the money for most people. I am leaving my order in, but I know I am paying for exclusivity more then anything. :(

Have any of you picked up the 1:19 Batman and Robin figures offered by PMB.

How much were they?

I sent a message to PMB, but I can't see any ordering details on his site.
