Hello!
I thought I'd put up all my Katniss costumes in one thread since I've been doing quite a lot of them. She's one of my favorite characters and one of the first I can convincingly pull off.
Hunger Games:
My first, the Reaping Dress. I don't have proper pictures with brown hair, Like the original, I found a vintage rayon print, stripped the color, then overdyed it. I used vintage buttons from my great-grandma's button tin.

Katniss Hunting costume. The jacket was a lucky ebay find, I made the pants, shirt, arrows, and quiver.

74th Arena: The only costume in my wardrobe I didn't make, as the screen-accurate replicas were easily available. Same pants brand worn on screen, NECA replica jacket, and replica bow and arrows. I made the belt, quiver, and heavily altered the backpack... which I need to get pics of since you can't see any of those in the pictures!

Girl on Fire: This is one of my favorites. This is made from silk. The top is draped and sculpted out of silk taffeta. The bottom hem is 9 yards of silk satin which I dyed, and rhinestoned with flames as much as I could afford. I built this when only two images and a spinning gif image were available, so it's not perfect but I'm proud of what I did with little reference. I won Best in Master Class at the Dragon*Con Costume Contest in 201(2?)

Victory Dress: The dress she wears when she is crowned victor. It's so FLUFFFAY! Made from silk dupioni, sparkle net and tulle.

Catching Fire:
Winter Hunting outfit: I reused my jacket and props from the first hunting costume, and made a replica of the cowl. I don't know how to knit or crochet, so I'm pretty proud of how it came out. Also made my first attempt at wigwork by ventilating a widow's peak into the hairline to hide my own.

Parade Dress: This is made from laser-cut leather on top of metallic gold. I also made the wrist cuff and headband. I won Best Recreation in both the Archon Masquerade and the Dragon*Con YALit contest.

And my friend Elendriel and I having some fun on the Marriott elevators that they filmed in:
That's what I've done to date, I plan to make more, possibly her Mockingjay armor for the new movie next.
