Various Costume and Sculptures...A walk down memory lane. Very Pic Heavy!

WARNING! THIS THREAD IS VERY BIG WITH TONNES OF PICS!

OK, you've been warned.... :lol

With all this talk of 3D printing...something I plan to learn BTW, in the meantime it got me thinking of all the actual clay sculpting I've done over the years and surprisingly, there was a lot! :facepalm
So here's a look at some sculpts, from as far back as 2001.

Some were water clay, others Kleen Klay, but for the most part once I discovered Chavant NSP Soft...I never looked back.

There's a lot here and in no particular order ...some good, and sure...some not so good but at the end of the day it's all part of my history. And, believe it or not, this isn't it all. There's quite a bit more done under NDA...:cool

Man that was an awesome trip down memory lane. I've seen most of these images through the years. I've always bee really impressed with your work David, always a fan. I was lucky enough to even own a piece or two from you. It was great meeting you in person at Dragoncon quite a few years back when I took my Predator there which I'm pretty sure was the one you were making here:

Amazing work. I am curious though, how does that clay become so flexible and still strong enough not to just droop apart, or is there some kind of clay I don't know off that lets you sculpt whatever you want and still holds it's structure. I've always wanted a nightwing or batman begins chest/abdomen/shoulder piece. Looks badass.
