Run across this on a site a few mins ago, just thought it was really cool. I have never run across one like this before,,

These used to be quite popular on Ebay. Of course they were all reproduction/faked but usually sold as actual antiques for a lot of money.

The gun in the box is real, or at least that was stated. It would be fun just to have

Just saw one of these sell on Auction Kings (Discovery channel) $12k.
I've also looked these up on the net, apparently there are some people that claim none of the vampire kits are authentic or ever existed during the 1800's. Supposedly the kits are a product of modern pop culture.

Anyone know if these things were actually sold during the 19th century?
