Vader's wingman TIE Fighter

This is the AMT two-in-one TIE fighters kit so I've still got one left.

Lit by one red led under the pilot and fiberoptics going back to the ion-engines. It was supposed to be mountable from the back also but after having spent two days figuring out how to do lights in models I had to scrap that idea. Half a pencil serves as the famous TIE armature though.

Saw two of these kits at my local model store last week, I was debating buying one or both.

The gene/edlund hatch under construction. Didn't have any goodyear decal so i used 4 letters from an alphabet-decal I had.

The TIE pilot is a bit big for standing in as the harrierpilot (Had to amputate his legs). The guns and the triangle in the cockpit window were the only things I felt I had to scratchbuild.
