Vader progress

Ive been working and working at my ESB Vader and I am almost there...

I'm currently only missing the 4 green lights on the belt and the cape. the lights are scheduled to be shipped the 12th and the cape should be here any day.

Once I have everything together and in order I'll be submitting for 501st membership.

Heres my current progress.

The pictures are rather dark and don't show off much of the parts, but overall the proportions look good and will certainly look better with the cape on, I'm sure.

The cod just looks a bit weird. What maker is it that makes these with that large center oval shape?

Looking good so far! I wish I had the devotion (and courage) to put together a Vader costume. Can't wait to see some pictures with the cape, it'll really complete the whole look.

It started out as a Sith Armor but I really didn't like the space diaper look so I trimmed it down and rounded off the edges.

Ah... okay. I think you perhaps should try and upgrade it as it just looks rather weird with that big oval right there.

The cod is about the only thing I see standing out. The rest looks good enough for me, though, I'm no real suit expert. Not really a big deal... and looking forward to seeing you with the cape on. :thumbsup

just another update... Cape came today. Now I need to hem it up a bit and then get the green lights and Im done.

Rubies bodysuit tailored by me to fit me
Costume boots from 911cosutme
Darth Stone bucket
Gypsyboy shins brought to a high polish by me
GT chest armor painted and polished entirely by me
SA gloves trimmed to mid forearm length and resewn
SA codpiece trimmed and reshaped by me
Built the belt and boxes by hand from Hammond boxes and a Porty buckle
Evolutions chest box I disassembled reshaped and repainted/assembled.
FX lightsaber converted with a kit from the custom saber shop
Evolutions cloak and surcoat tailored by me, for me
