This thread regarding these domes was deleted last time, even though people would love to hear the pedigree. The right side of the dome bothers me though. It looks like it has flattened a bit compared to the left. I am talking about the curve there on the back.

What good is a big dome without a big faceplate to go with it?

I have one - I think they are probably a completely reworked DP helm.

They are huge. I cut mine down at the back and sides, cut the peak off and made it an ESB helmet.

Good clean cast, lightweight but strong.

Excellent people to deal with, speedy shipping, good comms.
