Okay Vader experts, is there a site that shows the differences in the ANH and the ESB/ROTJ leather suit and capes? (Like the helmet site that shows the difference in all the helmets)

I know most all the differences in the helmets, chest boxes, and belt boxes and buckle, but it's hard to see much difference in the suit itself (the quilting/stiching on the leather).

Any help would be great. I'm not in a position to purshase a suit any time soon, but if a great deal comes along I want to be ready to buy with confidence.

Also, is there any difference in the shoulder armor besides the cape hook and paint job? (ANH and ESB/ROTJ)

Anyone know the differences? Straight stiching or V-stiching?

Is there a difference in the width of the stiches between movies?

Could I probably buy any good accurate Vader suit and be fine for an ANH Vader?

Hehe... Well.. There are several. But primarly these are differences that you can not se directly. They are behind the boots, behind the back, Variouse methods of strapping and closure for wearing. But they all were 3 piece like the version i have.

The ROTJ do have a difference in the front of the stiching with the V shape i offerd. It seamed everyone screamed for accuracy but when i offerd it everyone was gone.... The ROTJ with that type of shape is very expensive way to do it. But with the buget they had for the last movie they could afford it. It needs to be made in several steps to make it like that.

So, a suit with straight stiching would be ANH and ESB accurate? Is the spacing between quilts the same for all 3 suits?

I read through your thread, I agree that the most accurate 3 piece suit is awesome but if I had the money to spend I would probably go for the 2 piece suit as well.

ANH leather is super crinkly.

Believe the trousers had elasticated braces sewn in.
The back pieces had criss-cross lacing.

There is quite a marked difference between the ANH and ESB/ROTJ/ROTS suits.

The ROTJ is 1 inch I think and the ANH/ESB is I think 3/4 of an inch? I'd have to double check on that...my suit is buried somewhere :)
