Vader Belt Boxes ANH, ESB and ROTJ

I searched pretty long [here and read/seen all the threads on boxes] and just can't find the "definitive" exact dimensions of the belt boxes.
I found a few plans and builds and some off the shelf that others are using.
I thought 501st would have them but I didn't find anything there either.

Does anyone here know the extact WxLxD they are?

The only reason I bring it up is I'm making myself a couple sets for my build [ESB], so want to get as accurate as possible of course.

Obviously there are two choices, buy pre-made boxes or have them machined.
Feel free to chime in if you have dimensions not listed.

Here is a list of what everyone is saying:

• Approx 4-1/2" X 3-1/8".
• The boxes that are 4.375 x 3.375 are reasonably close.
• Used 4-3/8" X 3" X 3".
• No less than 4" (~101mm), no more than 4.75" (120mm), no less than 3" (~76mm) no more than 3.75" (~95mm), about 2" (50mm) in depth.'

Then off course there's the option of buying full kits to finish yourself or pre-made from several members of the 501st SLD Forums

I'm still hunting.

It's like a easter egg hunt trying to find one thats right [already made] in the perfect range. heh
Machining will be expensive [waiting on quotes] but need a backup plan.

I expected to find a definitive size for the boxes as whole or by movie, I didn't.

I saw his build.
Seen quite a lot actually and its time to put it together.

I been lurking awhile and so been gathering my data as one would expect.

I will be building my own belt boxes and already have the parts in route.
I'll post up a wip build/thread on it in a few weeks of my entire Vader gathering..
