We've been able to recently get quotes that theoretically could bring the price to around $40 at our current sign up levels. I need to do the math first, then I'll be able to update the first post soon with much better pricing.
We've been given a great deal of help very recently from another prominent RPF member in the modeling and quoting process. The model will closely match measurements from a known, possibly original, casting. It may never have seen screen time, however. This should be a great V3 emitter representation.
The lead times on parts could be as low as 4 weeks or less once we pull the trigger. Thankfully, I didn't order from the more expensive quote!
An updated first post will be out soon. Keep a look out.

Not metal but 3d printed. I am booked right up, I got home at 11pm last night, ate washed up and fell asleep by 1.. zero free time

im still taking way too much credit for this, i only helped George print the prototypes. George and Dan are the ones who should take all the credit
nah i dont have a tap, i cut it off the model, printed it then used a threaded rod to hold it on for the video

For once? Oh, right... because it’s not like you make amazing how-to videos, do incredible weathering jobs, and help people (like myself) to a crazy extent.

I'm going to keep the sign up open for 3 more weeks then I'll update the price, contact those who are still undecided, and make the final order.
After that, it'll be another 3-4 weeks lead time from the machine shop. During this time, I'll get prepped for shipping. When the emitters are being shipped to me, I'll start sending PMs with detailed instructions on how to proceed with shipping and payment info. I plan on sending invoices via Paypal to recipients' emails. I'll then prepare the orders and attempt to send them out in the order that are paid first.
