Using sprayed on truck bed liner for replicating costume armor

Hello. I would like to ask does anyone here have an experience with using sprayed on polyurethane truck bed liner for replicating costume armor?? I am mostly curious about technical aspect such if an aplication of a release agent in to the mold is necessary each time a sprayed on cast is made and also how to regulate the hardness and the rigidity of the material with ration of the provided hardener in the mixture.
