Using a Philadelphia Ordinance M1A1 for Pulse Rifle

Hi all,

I'm well into the construction of my M1A1 pulse rifle - got the hardest parts to find, and am now on to the Thompson parts. I know a spot to get original Thompson M1A1 parts, but noticed that Philadelphia Ordinance has replica M1A1's that they claim are interchangable with original M1A1 parts for about half the price of the real M1A1 parts. I emailed them about how close to spec they are, but haven't heard back yet.

Has anyone tried using these before? Any ideas? Would you risk it?

The only part I see for sale on that page is an %80 milled receiver which means no functional bolt.

I don't see anything on their site for the grip frame and parts kit that you need.

Ah, your right - it was just the receiver - and pretty expensive for just that. I went ahead and got the Thompson set from another guy that was recommended to me.

At least I know one more place I could pick up a 80% receiver though. :)
