Question user script to widen the look on page layout?

Master Member
on installing/updating to firefox 6 the user script i was using to widen the look of the forum is not supported

any info in getting rid of the annoying wasted space down either side of the website?

The script should still work, as it's really independent of the browser... Are you sure the plugin is enabled and the script is enabled?
Gotcha the plugin is incompatible, get greasemonkey instead install and run the script from greasemonkey...

(function() {
var css = ".page {\n	width: 98% !important\n	}";
if (typeof GM_addStyle != "undefined") {
} else if (typeof PRO_addStyle != "undefined") {
} else if (typeof addStyle != "undefined") {
} else {
	var heads = document.getElementsByTagName("head");
	if (heads.length > 0) {
		var node = document.createElement("style");
		node.type = "text/css";

//-- End Full width by cocomonk22

That should work, and only change the width, as it's the relevant part of the script I use for that... Not tested on it's own but it should still work...

I have it set to 98% width in the above code, you can edit that at will
thanks exoray, the screencap was from my greasemonkey pages and thats where i had it running.

i will have a play around and see what i can do (probably not a lot :lol)

the only thing that is running in greasemonkey is this. how can i get that script installed you posted above?
The script was likely installed in stylish, thus it no longer working...

Go to the greasemonkey options and make a new script, copy and paste what I put above and then make sure it's enabled, both the script and greasemonkey...

Refresh the page...
