Upgrading MR's Thor Hammer

Is anybody working on an upgrade for Museum Replicas' Mjolnir?
I have a pretty neat idea of a new handle, but I am not sure how to remove the original one without risking damaging it...

I thought about the same thing, but given the cost, and the lack of exactness on the head, I didn't think it worth it. I just sold mine.

Im sure i heard someone say that they managed to unscrew their handle. I gave a go at giving mine a wee turn and boath the handle and capstone spun. I wanted to twist the handle around any way to make it look closer to the one in the movie, the silver ringlets have the dips facing the boath ends of the hammerhead and not pointing towards the wider sides. Good luck with it if you are going to give it a go.

I agree... it is a shame... but let's see it this way: it's better to upgrade it than to settle for a sh*tty replica after paying $400...
