Redid my arc reactor using Stealth's suggested housing, with the electronic internals of my old reactor and some added pieces.

6mm foam, 3mm foam, hot glue and 30 min later....... Hip Pods!

Hey David, your painting method doesn't include Plasti Dip at all? ...

...cause that stuff's expensive

Nope. I was going to use it originally but it wasn't really helping with cracking, so I opt'd for vinyl paint for flex areas and regular primer for low flex areas all coated with thriple thick glaze.

-This piece has been painted for over a month. I've been bending the heck out of it and it is yet to crack. It can wrinkle but it does not crack.

THIS is really impressive to me. After painting the abs on my Mk VII foam suit, I tried to put them on and the cracking sounded like I stepped on potato chips. :facepalm

If I do foam again in the future, I'll definitely try this method.
