$500 for the GRAIL DIARY??? :confused  I most HIGHLY doubt that.  ;)

Well, no, I do not think this is too much. There are so many people wanting one and it can´t be produced by machines all the way like for example a lightsaber. You´ll need a lot of hand-work. So I think it´ll be that price is right (ok, +/- 100 bucks)

Wow - maybe $2500 for the Falcon?.?. Guess I'll have to bow out. I'm not exactly poor but man - these things are getting to be a bit much.

$2500 would be an awesome price for a 3 FOOT Falcon.
I'm surprised there's ANY surprise at the pricing on that, especially on this board.
A finished kit done up by someone with the paint skills needed would cost you wayyyy more than that. PLUS you get a display case and the accuracy MR has in being able to use source material.

As for the Grial Diary, I'm not one to speculate on pricing, but I would bet the farm they get one out on the market for around $250-$350.

will we ever see a qui gon saber???

used to not even like it, but it is soo different from EVERY other saber ever...

seems like they would have it in one form or another.

i deffinately want a ep1/2 obi FX (and there of course has been talks of that)

and am anxious to see how the maul is gonna be, (how sturdy when the 2 halves are together)

and how they are gonna pull of the sids and yoda FX's (you guys did know there were plans for these??? right?)

supposedly they are working on smaller electronics, and while still probably wont be small enough to make the smaller hilts "accurate" sized, might make the larger ones to be more capable of being closer to accurate sizes...

and not to mention the removeable blade FXs that were mentioned a month or so back... (that i believe the last run of FXs were a step in the direction of)

but who am i kidding, MR still doesnt even have actual pics of the ep3 helmets up on there site...

might be 2-3 years before we here or see anything solid on ANY of the things ive mentioned... :lol

IF my "disposeable income" wasn't in jeapardy I'd be all over that Falcon. I guess my 18" ERTL with the Falconkits upgrades will have to do.

I still want the OT Stormtrooper helmet x2 though..

.

Concerning the costumes, I read something about a price of 100 bucks. With all the details and for that price it almost sounds too good to be true. Perhaps any piece of the costume is 100 bucks?.

I would venture to say closer to $1000.00 per complete costume. Possibly more with all the leatherwork involved with the Anakin. My guess.

I'll refresh this thread by asking if there is any word on new Trek items to come in late 2005/early 2006?

With the way Mr got taken over the TOS landing party set, I doubt it and I don't much blame them. :unsure

well with the price of those rubies vader being like 600 and up, I'd say this costume will most def be more than 600, will it include a saber too?

Handwork ? for a PRINTED book ? 50 $ tops IMO. Else it would be too much. I know it' a leather cover, with weathering, but you'd be suprised what one can print these days, even on special paper.

If they ask more, I print my own one from the project I am involved on the COW ..

Hmmm, I just read in the RS Forum that we won´t see any Iny props in 2006 but in 2007. Does anybody hyve some infos about that?

Thanks
Domenik

I'm just curious of where do you find all this info related to MR? I went to the site, and there's no info of the upcoming projects.

BTW, any words on the MR version of the Vader Reveal Helmet?

MR has their own blog....link to it on their site....

I hope to see the Trek Assault Phaser coming soon. It was one of the things shown in their possible 2006 rollout.

As far as the pricing. It wasn't that I was so surprised by a possible price of $2500 Falcon, it was the thought of trying to come up with that amount for essentially what is a plastic model. A few hundred for a saber or a blaster is one thing, but thousands for these studio scale pieces is another - at least for me. I'd love to see maybe a 50% studio scale model series done really well say for pricing in the hundreds. I don't really like the Code 3 models, but I was hoping MR would give us an in between alternative.

Oh, and I for one really miss the TREK offerings.

50% studio scale? After the Snowspeeder, people would burn down MR headquarters methinks...
