Secondly, the Millennium Falcon Studio Replica will also be made available as a Signature Edition, signed by Harrison Ford himself.

:eek Wow....just....Wow.. :eek

I was going to stay out of the studio scale side of collecting, but if they do a HF Signature edition Millenium Falcon, I'll be all over that.

Same here. This one would be difficult to pass up.

I just fear the price point. :confused

I'm actually surprised that Ford is contributing to the Falcon, considering how he had become more and more ambivalent about his Han Solo role the longer his movie resume became. Maybe the upcoming Indy movie has softened his opinion of Starwars/Lucas. After seeing his contribution to Amazon.ca's anniversary (ie: hand delivering some lady's StarWars trilogy on DVD :lol) , maybe he's just lightening up in general.
At any rate, who cares. The man himself is signing this baby.... :D

Probably his millions of dollars make him feel less ambivalent. :lol

I am pleased by the pics of the Obi-Wan TPM EE lightsaber. It has accurate pommel cubes like no fan-made replica I have seen. The purple jewel in the valve looks green in the pics. I would have made the clear LEDs cloudy and had a groove along the rim of the emitter, but that is a question of personal taste.

Marvel License also announced. Please post if anyone knows of the items to be released. Sideshow had an incredible Thor helmet and Mjolnir mini exclusive at SDCC.

Maybe in the future, but not in the cards right now. From MR's blog:

While we're very pleased to be announcing the next ship in line for our Studio Scale series, the Millenium Falcon, some websites have reported that this will be a "Signature Edition" model. While we'd love for this to be true, at the current time, there are no such plans - but stay tuned to the blog for more information as it becomes available.

An accurate, studio scale Falcon would be awesome B) . I would probably get the LE edition and hold out for the signature edition Indy items instead ;) :thumbsup

I've been wanting to finish my basement for some time. Looks like I have an excuse since I have no other place to display something this size. :D

Anyone else think that Obi EE looks like a refitted Larbel SS?
