Unusual Kobold flash

I’ve not seen reference to this particular flash before but I’ve not checked every post. Spotted on eBay for around £11 delivered so I snapped it up. No Kobold logo and came in original packaging with accessories. The box says Kobold and it definitely has some age to it, as did the battery that was leaking inside it (so is the capacitor).

Anyone seen this one before and how screen accurate is it? (I’ve not researched much on which are the most screen accurate so I’m going to presume it’s not very).

Yes, it's one of the numerous kobold variations out there. Mostly the clip is inaccurate and can't be used for a light saber, but you can replace the clip with an accurate replica and you'll have a great droid caller for cheap :)

Is that a D-ring on your leather bag? I have the same Kobold too, it came in a stash of vintage cameras ... I call it the Droidcaller Mark II as opposed to the more accurate Mark I ;)

That was my thought, couldn’t pass it up at that. Even if it’s not screen accurate it’s close enough that at a distance you’d not tell unless you are one of the many eagle eyed researchers on here
You didn’t make a mistake at all, well worth it!
