I am such a fan of the two Underworld movies, particularly from a design aspect, I think they are very original. My favourite element is the Werewolf. I love the fact that they decided not to cover it in hair, to show tons of muscle, to make it more feline. I just thought they were great.
To my knowledge, no one has had a go at sculpting the wolf from Underworld yet (correct me if I'm wrong) so I thought I'd have a pop at it - 1:2 scale.
I referred to the supplemental material on the DVDs. Managed to screen cap several shots where the wolfs head was in the same frame as a human head. Took them in Adobe Illustrator and scaled up to the height of my head. Therefore, if the human head is now my size, the wolfs dimensions should be correct (approx).
Please go easy on me here. I have tons of experience of making prop kits, restoring broken props and making them shiny, but this is the first time I have had a go at creating from ....nothing.
On with the pix - this is now my hard master.
