It's a Socom, same as used in the show. I got the Tokyo Marui gas non-blowback one specially to make the prop, as it comes with the laser unit that latches under the barrel, and is a perfect base to build the camera unit around.
The 'mirror' section is hinged in two places, so it can be folded up as with the original prop, and can be removed from the gun.
Now I'm going to have to watch my dvd set again, I loved that show.
I read an interview with the creator once, and he said that despite being very popular, he was told that it was just too expensive a show to continue. A real shame.
Fox did an American pilot that didn't sell. The reviews said the problem with the show was that they 90210ed it. :confused
Those casings are short for a .45 acp, but then that is how they were in the show. Those must be real low velocity bullets. :lol
