ultra cal 30 in colorado

Hello! Good to see another colorado resident on here! I used to live in the springs. Ultracal-30 is the hardest plaster and can handle being baked. Hydrocal is more pourus and softer and doesent take baking as well. Unfortunalty to get ultracal you have to drive to denver to MILE HIGH CERAMICS. They carry everything you need and its good to just stock up there. hope that helped.

to be honest, even though ultracal is better, hydrocal is still pretty good stuff. the price point is about the same though i think.

Thanks for all the help, I am actualy in cripple creek. Nice little town. I plan on casting some silicone, so what you guys think.....ultra cal, hydro or fiberglass? fiberglass I could pick up at walmart so thats easily accesible.
