Here is a detail that was recently revealed in some new photos of the Stembridge blaster. Since it went to auction I’m guess is where/when this set screw was added to the flash hider? Either way I believe it’s a nice touch when replicating this beautiful prop.

Here is the actual Stembridge prop itself for reference..

Now that´s a whole new level of detail...WOW!

May I ask, where you got the pictures of the Stembridge, that was auctioned off from?
Can´t seem to find them...

Thanks Odi!

OdiWan72 these Stembridge pics I found in a thread that you already posted in.. Ironically they where posted right after your last post in the same thread . You missed them by a hair! Heres the thread..

I was curious if there was any other pictures and where they came from myself. thd9791 mentioned that he originally got them from a FB post that Brandon took part in. I eventually found that FB post after many google searches as I wanted to confirm some info (I quoted that info in the video) but these are the only pics he’s shared so far. There has to be others but I don’t know Brandon at all to even ask. Regardless these pics are amazing aren’t they?! Thanks thd9791 for originally resharing them and guiding me..

OdiWan72 anytime! Ya I’m with ya.. every stone that gets unturned I as well feel the pull to try and improve. It’s kind of exhausting isn’t it

I saw that u were creating a thread for STL files on a build you where doing. How did that go? I’ve toyed with the idea of using thingiverse for sharing files but I like the idea of just creating a thread here as well.

Has it been confirmed by screenshots that there was actually checkered grips on the blaster?
Actually screen shots? No I dont think so. The blaster is always in Fords hands during filming so it’s really hard to see. Also keep in mind that anytime the blaster is seen in his holster it’s not the Stembridge. They wouldn’t use a live fire for those shots. It would be the Endor (or Bunker) that was made on an MGC as seen here..

This is probably the best pic of the Stembridge from the film. It’s pretty much impossible to see but the blaster has appeared since with the checkered grips..

Hmmm, so I wonder if there are checkered grips available for a Denix somewhere.
I've been baffled because they look like the checkered Mauser grips with the symbol. I've never seen grips like these anywhere.

BlasterFactory (field marshall) makes new checkered stembridge grips I think

No I don’t think so. It’s hard enough to even find them for a real Mauser. I had to creat my own for my denix builds. It’s usually the best way to go about these days IMHO.

Thanks for this thread. I'm building both a RotJ Bunker Denix and an S:ASWS AW Custom airsoft. You've given me some good ideas... and some headaches. ;)

I've got a lot of parts already, but I'll be needing a few others. I think you mentioned we can go through you vs. going to Shapeways? What's the preferred way of getting your parts?

Do you offer the "Locked Frame" piece (back, just below the hammer) you created for your builds for sale? I didn't see it on your Shapeways page.

Thanks again!

Chris
