Ultimate X-Men Cyclops and Jean Grey

Visor is now detailed with the etched lines.. I know it's not perfect but for me it looks good enough and I am happy with it, got it painted up too.... all that is left to do is add the red plastic screen and rig the lighting... here's a couple of pics

I also pepped my X-badge for my belt... again it's not perfect but nothing a bit of resin and filler won't smarten up abit so again I'm quite happy with it, gonna start a smaller one for Jean Grey's chest ....

The visor looks great! I'm happy to see someone else doing Ultimate versions. A friend and I are actually planning on doing Cyclops and Jean Grey ourselves.

Yeah it started out that it was me and my fiancee (which it will be in May) but I have rallied together what I think could be the biggest Ultimate X-Men group I have seen for July.... we have ... Cyclops, Jean Grey, Colosuss, Beast, Wolverine, Cable, Rogue, Storm, Kitty, Dazzler, Psylocke, Gambit, Firestar, Polaris then we have a couple of none X-Men characters joining in too :) should be epic...

Got me considering an ultimate myself... who you missing?
 
Thanks mate....I am gonna be wearing it to May Expo dude.... but it's just me and the missus at that one, the big Ultimate group is the Sunday of LFCC so you will see it before ;)

we also have Ultimate versions of Hawkeye, fem Cpt America, Spiderman too for the Ultimate Universe group, but my main focus is the X-Men team but all Ultimate characters are welcome

Awesome can't wait even though I'll probably be in full on DC Mode for May Expo... those 2 tempt me... though Angel would by no means be easy...
 
I'm really excited for this, mainly because it's not one of the overly complicated costumes, so it's easier to get perfect. One simple, perfect, suit is better than a large mediocre one.

Got some red acrylic perspex coming for the visor lense and all the components have been ordered for lighting....
My yellow wellies have arrived so will get tweaking them so they can be fastened to a tighter fit to the leg as they a obviously loose aroung the leg now like all wellies are :)
 
OK so got a fair bit done today......

The belt.... I finished putting the foam on and gave it a few coats of paint, needs a couple more tomoz and then a black wash for weathering

The Visor..... I got my sheet of 3mm Red Acrylic Perspex so that was cut to size then bent under boiling water and added, I did cause a paint chip so besides fixing that up and the gettin the lights rigged it's practically finished :)

and I also got the badges sanded and have started painting them up but they need more work before pics of them
