UK Hunters..........Anyone know a UK based supplier of Backer Rods?

Evening all!!!
Any chance that one of you good folk know of a supplier in the UK I can get backer rods from......all the building suppliers I've been to look at me like I'm demented, when I ask for it!!

google....shopping...backer rod uk.
there are a few uk suppliers of backer rods...mostly online as it is usually only used by commercial road making or car park making gangs...so you wont find it in your local B&Q.....and if they are not pred fans..or road workers they have probably never heard of it...which would explain why they look at you like you've just droped out of a dogs bottom when you ask for it.

what r backing rods?!!!

It's a product used, I think for log cabin style construction. It's also known as pre-caulking rope.
It's basically a closed cell foam that come in various diameters, some of our Colonial Cousins favour using it to make dreads.
