I wonder when this arrest took place? Is it still currently pending? I've been on the bad end of some deals that I thought would never be resolved. Luckily, in the end, after alot of battling, I've managed to get most items or a refund. The scammers are in the minority usually and thankfully. Hate when they give the good prop builders a bad name.

I just think this is very very sad.. I mean, he is a grown "man" and should take some responsibility for his actions. Letting his mother and girlfriend pay for HIS mistakes. What kind of person does that? If I broke the law or even just made a simple mistake I would NEVER let my family take the fall. Man up! My kid brother who is 10 yrs old have a better sence of responsibility than this guy.

well after receiving a refund on my mask i ordered tyler called me and seemed VERy humbled by the whole situation. after a 30 minute conversation about everything he said he is still going to send me the mask i ordered and already got my refund. he sent me pics of it 3 days ago and he also sent me a pic of the box with my name on it and address and he sent me the tracking info along with pics of the receipts stating it had been shipped. i know he has came across 1/2 ****** before but i think there may be a new age of tyler. we will see all in time. He really does have great talent and he could really bring a lot to the table. we will see all in time....
I think it's obvious when someone acts like that, they may have some issues. If those can be addressed by any means, usually then you can deal with a normal person who may be quirky but not to the extent I've seen with this case.
I'll be the first one to give someone another chance if they're trying to recover their reputation and put things right, especially if they had some issues before that were put to bed. People don't act that extremely and still fall into the realm of stable, I'm sure if he's come around he deserves a clean slate as though he is a different person. Sometimes that can really be the case. I don't mean he shouldn't have to build a positive reputation back, just that he'll need an opportunity to try to.

This is not the first time this has happened and the only reason he is being so humble now is because his mother and girlfriend had to bail him out and there was or is a very good chance he might go to jail.
Just because someone has talent is no reason to to overlook the fact that there were plenty of stories going around of him ripping off people, not delivering on promises and threatening people.
I really doubt he is going to change his spots and I won't be sending him any money anytime in the near or far future.

Well, we won´t see those changes on TheRPF.
Reviews of his products or any other proven scammer and con artist will be seen as shilling for a third party, which is not permitted according to the Member guidelines.

Man, i hate even saying anything... but i feel i need to chime in...
I've known Mike (DT) and Tyler for a while now... And their business is their business and i wont take sides, but the whole thing between two people i consider friends is really a sad issue for me.
I feel Tyler is a good guy that got in over his head and just couldn't get out without some help, he is a one man show and he was still learning his craft when he started getting overwhelmed with orders. I am not saying its ok to get overwhelmed and not deliver, but i am sure a number of us have gotten frustrated and quit (something) at some point in life and felt bad and regretted it later.
I don't really think name calling and flagrant bashing makes the situation any better and it certainly wont help people get their items or money back. I can say with 100% confidence that, i don't believe he set out to scam and rip anyone off. If you have talked with him or hung out with him you would see what type of guy he is... he is goofball and probably a bit ADHD, but he is certainly not a deliberate criminal.
I am sorry Mike that you and the others had to got through all this from Tyler... and you definitely did the right thing with blocking him, since it's for the best you guys don't communicate anymore... business was settled and that's that.
I do hope that in time Tyler will be able to redeem himself with his customer and his rep, and get back on track. He is really talented and deserves to be successful in doing the stuff he does well.
Anyway, i know some of you will just bash me, and that's ok... i don't mind. it was just my two cents.

I was attacked and harassed by this jerk and he is nothing close to being a nice guy. He has been kicked off of EVERY forum that you can find and up to the point he was arrested he continued to harass and make threats against those forums.
He's been pulling this sort of thing for at least 2 or 3 years.
He announces he will be at conventions DARING everyone to come up to him and confront him in person. Of course he doesn't show.
I am a great believer in second chances...but not 7th chances.

As a supporter of a couple of the sites he's been banned from I can tell you for a fact that as little as 2 weeks ago he was harassing and making threats to at least 2 sites.
If it walks and quacks like a duck...it's probably a duck. A jerk will continue to be a jerk....

Maybe he's turning a new leaf and following through on all his business transactions. Fine.
What will NOT change is his temper. The guy is a hothead and if called out starts using profanity, slurs and tells people how unreasonable they are being because they want their paid items on time because we "can't possibly understand the stress he's under".
Nope. Sorry, Pal. You have my hard earned money. I expect deadlines to be met. If not, I expect an apology and an open line of communication without me having to prompt it.
As far as I'm concerned, I will never recognize him as a "respected prop builder".
