I am so glad I went with my gut a couple years back and passed on buying things from him. Ever since I have heard nothing but bad dealings this guy has made. Not sure how someone like that sleeps at night. Or walks down the street without looking over his shoulder all the time!

I gotta tell you, I fully agrre with this post.
Okay, so the heat's on so now he is FORCED to make good.
Maybe he's turning a new leaf and following through on all his business transactions. Fine.
What will NOT change is his temper. The guy is a hothead and if called out starts using profanity, slurs and tells people how unreasonable they are being because they want their paid items on time because we "can't possibly understand the stress he's under".
Nope. Sorry, Pal. You have my hard earned money. I expect deadlines to be met. If not, I expect an apology and an open line of communication without me having to prompt it.
As far as I'm concerned, I will never recognize him as a "respected prop builder".

Just because the guy has talent does not excuse anything he has done. The only reason he is paying people back or sending them their goods now is because he was caught and his mother and gf are making him do it to keep him out of jail, otherwise you would still be waiting.

Anyone who buys from him after this, will get exactly what they deserve, which will probably be a whole lot of heartache without much substance and will get with no sympathy from me.

Let me just say, for those of those who feel he is now "humble" or he's now a better person, I can show you an e-mail that prooves that lepard's spots did NOT change! He's still the same, bitter person he always was. :lol

I feel Tyler is a good guy that got in over his head and just couldn't get out without some help, he is a one man show and he was still learning his craft when he started getting overwhelmed with orders. I am not saying its ok to get overwhelmed and not deliver, but i am sure a number of us have gotten frustrated and quit (something) at some point in life and felt bad and regretted it later.

I have no doubt that Tyler, like many, came into this hobby with talent, saw an opportunity to make money (nothing wrong with that) and ended up getting in over his head.

However, your assessment that he is a "good guy" and simply a victim of his own success is simply incorrect due to how he has handled himself since he got in over his head. His personal attacks on individuals as well as his sad attempts to "out" a number of sites to the studios for infringement (something he has profited from considerably) clearly shows his true nature. Given what I have witnessed of his character, if you are coming here to defend him and try to show us that he is simply a nice guy that got in over his head, well, that is never going to happen. There is much more sliminess to the story than that.

We have seen a lot of people with the best intentions get in over their head and not sink to the level Tyler has. He is not one of us. He is not a victim. He is not a "good guy." People like Tyler don't redeem themselves. When they are caught, they take a "do good" pill and "do good" just long enough to lure in another batch of victims. Those who are expecting Tyler to turn over a new leaf and act differently will essentially be helping him bring the next herd of sheep to the slaughter and then everyone will be surprised when he does the exact same thing again and again and again.

I do hope that in time Tyler will be able to redeem himself with his customer and his rep, and get back on track.

Sent him $300 in toys and paid $89 to ship the box to him for a Blade Puppet Master Figure he makes in August 2012. While I was waiting for it I obtained a blank Joker Bank Heist mask which I sent to him to paint Nov 2012. He made copies of it and sold them. As of Jan 3rd 2014 I still have not gotten the Blade or the Joker bank mask. I'm out $600 bucks. Lame excuses after excuses. 3 of my friends got their joker masks in June 2012. The blank cost me $235. I then spent $20 to ship it to him. The toys I sent him were some I collected since I was a kid. Original Dino Bots. 12 Inch star wars figures from 1997.

Sent me the joker mask he owed me Jan 2013 after 17 months and I had blocked him on Facebook and changed my phone number. Still never got the Blade puppet master figure. He is still at it. Issues as new as 8-14-14 still continuing.

This dude has owed me hundreds of dollars of products for like 4 years. At this point I have all but written it off. He stopped responding to my messages a long time ago. One of the absolute worst people in this hobby.

I got scammed by him. He was suppose to ship a scarecrow mask to me before Halloween. He used a partners PayPal address of a Larry Tish. He gave me the run around repeatedly and kept saying he shipped but would not give me tracking. Sure enough no product delivered. I am reporting to my local authorities.
