tye williams ripped me off for $300 on the Junk yard!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. He scammed me last year on Facebook (goes by Jamie Michael there) but thankfully PayPal rescued my money.

When I saw his sales threads here I had hoped my situation was just some kind of misunderstanding, but obviously not.

Yes, I'm calling my bank to do a charge back, hopefully paypal goes after him and put a freeze on his account.

Thanks for the info, I am shaming him on Facebook right now, he was trying to sell some stuff in the Star Trek Prop Enthusiasts group, I'm sure he will creep back there soon enough and try to screw someone else.

My experience with him happened five years ago, I can’t remember how he screwed me it was so long ago. Montagar has already contacted me. Ma, I sure wish I could remember. I even checked my personal black list and sure enough he’s on it.

Reach out to wannab . He posted in one of the sales threads that he was ripped off for $300. The guy has like five posts out there. They should be pulled.

I don't think I'll be able to get my money back, Paypal shot me down within minuets, it must have been an automated response to me opening a claim. I've bought a lot of things here and never been ripped off, so I have gotten in the habit of using Friends and Family as a courtesy to the other guy so he doesn't have to pay any fees. I did call my bank and opened a claim, but I used my checking account as the source, so no credit card charge back. All they could do is stop payment on a check but it has already gone through.

Here he is looks like he has a long history of screwing people over on Star Trek Props

Here's an update, the guy decides to ship the thing, maybe the wind blew west or something.

I finally did get the $300 Mark VII TNG tricorder, so my record on the RPF is still unbroken, I've never been ripped off here.

Maybe the RPF admins laid into him and threatened to kick him out or something.

still no response to my messages or any follow up,

I still wouldn't give him any money, no communications, or updates, no tracking number etc.
it just showed up, shipped a few days ago.

Why does a guy need so may names? That's the question.
1. Tye Williams?
2. Jamie Michael?
3. Gavin Orr? (name on the paypal account)
4. Jamie M Flesch from Niagara Wisconsin, (return address on the box)

I'll never knowingly buy anything from him again, but he uses different names so who knows,

he can change his name at any time and still sell on the JunkYard.

That's awesome! I'm glad somebody finally got that tricorder! After he flaked on me and tried selling the same piece to so many other people I just assumed he never had any of the things he was selling!
