TWC Eleventh Doctor Sonic Repair

Hi,
My TWC Eleventh Doctor sonic has been used so much that the copper plating on the end of the screwdriver below the white handle piece is beginning to wear away.
There are now a couple of brown patches where the plating has rubbed off completely, I was just wondering what the best way to repair this would be?
Would there be a way to patch up the plating to match the same colour as that already on the rest of the screwdriver or is there anywhere that I could get a replacement end for the screwdriver?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would suggest you contact a member here, kursosawa. He does conversions from the static prop to an extending replica. He may have some advice or spare parts. No guarantees, but that would be my best advice.
