I have just recivied my godzillia tusken mask and in the next couple of weeks i'll be putting it all together. I have no problems there, the next step is te robes and under garments i have seen a number of sergestions but i was wondering if the creamy cotton dust sheets that painters removeal men use are any good?
They are the same colour yet nice and light and inexpensive to replace it frays well so a more realistic look to the costume. Seeing you can but a 24'x24' for £7 i reckon you can do at least 2 full costumes plus a ton of spare wraps

It might work. Does it have a nice woven texture to it, or is it more like canvas? IF it's too close in texture to your head wraps (denim material), you might not want to go with it. The textures would blend to easily. I am in the USA, so not really sure what drop cloths are made of in the UK.

Here's a nice hi-res shot of the 1977 Tusken robes/head and their different textures...

The weft and weave looks to be loose enough to be used as robe material. You can see how it opens up as it wraps around the outside of the fold area.

For the price, you probably cannot go wrong. Sew it up, distress the heck out of it, and post images of the final outcome for the community here to see. :)
