I found out that they used canvas gloves, or that's what the exhibit costume was wearing. Old 77 promotional photos also displayed similar gloves. Last year, when I went to C5, I found them in a little market way to the convention center. Only 1.99 per pair. They were natural color or close to white:

So, basically dyed them trying to get sand color or close to beige:

Now, I have to get them dirty. Guess will be using acrylic paint. Don't want to really use motor oil or something like that. Hope this helps. Keep you posted guys.
