Tusken Build

I'd like to show the progress of my Tusken outfit as it stands right now .
The Helmet Shell is my own Sculpt that I wraped in Thrift store Belts and cloth and then weathered. And I spent some time at the local discount Fabric store looking at odds and ends for the Robes ( Inner and Outer ) and the sash.
I'll get the sewing done in the next day or so and begin weathering everything and then start on the tan outfit that goes under it all.

So far this has been a FUN CHEAP Costume to do ,
Here's some pics ( I love the textures of the Fabrics )

Jarvis B,

Coming along nicely. As you pointed out, the texture of the fabric looks great.

Good start on your tusken. That monks cloth on your outer robe looks great; that material tends to unravel a bit giving a convincing "tattered" look after wearing it a few times. Used the stuff myself on the inner and outer robes of my tusken.

Nice job on the sculpt, how's the weight of your bucket? I've heard the tusken helmets are usually heavy. I really like the look of the material, great job bargain hunting.

Thanks for the kind words on the build it's been alot of fun so far , The total weight of the Helmet in the picture is 1 pound 14 ounces complete and ready to wear with a great deal of Airflow.
This outfit should go dirty very soon .
Minus the Ammo pouches I have about $50.00 in the whole thing so far ,
But then again I have the mold for the Helmet and hard parts . Even still it's a pretty cheap Costume to build.
