I want to get a nice shine on my utilitarian rattle-can job on my John Hays Flash lid, so I'm wondering if anyone has any horror stories about plain old Turtle Wax interacting funny with the paint?
I would guess no as long as the paint has had time to fully cure and gas out. Most polishes and waxes will do fine. I had a model car that I painted with a few coats of Testors and literally waited a month before doing anything to it. Then I used a product called Scratch Out which is a polish that is just a tad more abrasive than wax and it polished up vey nicely with no ill affects.
