Photos are coming soon- just got the other coat in last night.
The best way I can describe the faux suede version of this coat in terms of weight and thickness is a lab coat with a lining. I haven't tried it out in the wind yet, but I can imagine that it would flow quite well in the breeze much like I see in the show.
This coat again came with the blue lining, the orange trim on the inside pockets, angled outer pocket flaps, 4 darts in the back, "marbled" dark brown/tan buttons and most importantly was tailored well. The material seems to have the same texture to it as close ups I've seen of the screen used fabric but as I have never held a screen used Tennant coat I cannot say 100% for sure.
So, the question comes down to faux suede or wool. We all know in terms of screen accuracy the faux suede is the material to use. However, if you intend to wear this coat on a daily basis, the faux suede is a light coat more suited for fall and early winter wear. If you intend to wear this out in freezing temperatures, the wool has considerably more weight to it and is a warmer coat to wear. Both versions get compliments as they are well made articles of clothing and even the wool version is still very much recognizable as a Dr. Who coat by fans.
I will try to have pictures up in a few days.
