This bed bug is ready for paint.......final primer shots after some

Thanks guys the bottom is finished calling it a wrap .........I got my
first Alien ship on and off the bench.......a bench queen no more!!! :lol

That looks great! I especially like the engine glow.
The original maquettes seldom got past the primer stage. Here are some pics of the maquette I made of Count Dooku's Geonasian shuttle.
It wasn't my favorite ship, but it had some neat sculptural elements to it.

Originally I set out to make the one that appeared in the film,
with the two pods. I didn't like it as I was moving along, one day
I just set the two hulls on top of each other and I thought it looked
much better as a single pod fighter. I just took the canopy pull and
used it as the engine orb on the bottom. I was thinking about having
an engine orb on each side of the lower hull.....but past on it wanting
to keep it's sleekness. I agree this wasn't my favorite either but when I
got rid of the lower pod I enjoyed working on it much more. LOL Thanks

I actually built a hyperdrive ring for it also.....but decided against
that as well......LOL

The hyper drive ring is pretty cool! And it certainly fits in the technology of the films.
