Hi folks, looking for some help/guidance on the shape of the trooper backplate I'm scratchbuilding.
I'm using particle board and auto 2-part putty, as in the chestplate which is due for painting & waving so's I can have a go at moulding in fibreglass.
My problem is carving the shape of the back of the neck down to the backplate box. I've got the approximate over-all dimensions, but can't find any good pics showing how deep the neck cutout is, etc.
It's a long way to drive to Wellington to see one first hand, plus the roads are crazy this Easter weekend, so it'd be greatly appreciated if someone could post some pics showing the back of the neck from some different angles. Thanks, Phil
