TRON: Uprising Series Discussion

All the people with XD just leave your TV on the Disney XD channel on Sunday night and set the sleep timer to go off after the show. Would that help any? Haha
I honestly don't know how all those Nielson ratings work. Does it apply to everyone or just the chosen Nielson families that have their system wired in?
 
so far as I know, only dvr activity is aggregated and reported. Nielsen is completely different. I recall that if you are up to 7 minutes behind watching a live show, it's counted as live watching. Otherwise it's considered watched later. It's an important number for them to know, and surely more important than ever as I never watch it live with the sunday late timeslot.
 
Don't you have to be a part of the Nielsen Ratings in order for your viewership to count? It doesn't measure every television, right?

I'm all over every petition that gets put out. I know Disney sees these things because its all throughout the TRON Facebook page that they are constantly monitoring and watching for live links to remove. The do leave the suggested links, tho. Which is good.

I don't have XD nor do I have a dvr. I just buy the episodes on PSN and hope that counts for something. I mean...thats money in their pocket.

Post all the petitions you see. even a few more signatures can't hurt.

I dvr, watch several times, buy the shows on itunes, buy the soundtrack, download the soundtrack... though I do all that because I really like it. We just need more people to know about it.

If there were only more Tron fans as fanatical as us on here, this wouldn't be a situation we have to deal with.
I keep posting as much as I can. Tomorrow I'll post on my FB again so it will be fresh in everyones mind to watch or Dvr Uprising if they have XD.
 
The season premiere episode "Beck's Beginning" had 1.79 million viewers. Looking at the next episodes viewer count which was 0.58 million it makes it obvious that the reason why less people watch the show is because of the day of the week it's on. It goes from Friday on premiere, then Thursday and now Monday? It's their own doing which is the sad part.

Yeah, networks have a habit of doing that to shows and then they act all surprised when the shows numbers start to drop. I think that networks do that to shows that they don't like and don't want to support so they play shell games with it in order to give them the excuse they need to cancel it.

No Bounds was the most emotionally powerful episode yet. It actually left me shaking at the end. It is astounding how much I've come to love these characters and this story.

One episode to go.....
 
After this last episode I really do hope they manage to get another season, I totally didn't see this happening. Combined with Paige's change of heart and renewed loyalty to Teslar I really want to see what happens with Beck & Tron, not to mention how exactly this series ties into Legacy and how Tron ends up becoming Rinzler and what happens to Beck and his alter-ego The Renegade.
 
Well, first ep shows Tron in the Rinzler outfit. So Tron might be captured at some point, maybe because of Dyson, or to save Beck; Then reconfigures himself as Rinzler once repurposed ( we saw that happened in "Scars" ).That's one mystery more or less explained... As for everything else, well. We might never know.

As of " No Bounds ", it's just the best episode so far. Only one more ep to go.

Damn, I'm pissed off at Disney...
