Tron: Legacy, "The Digital Frontier" Book

Tron legacy - endgame swag replica project - dumont shipping frank artwork

I'm almost off to bed for the night (1am here) so here's my latest post on Unfiction regarding replicas of the ENDGAME Swag to compliment the Digital frontier book replica project.

View topic - [SWAG] DIY

I've included photos of my efforts. Here's a link to the artwork too:

The DUMONT SHIPPING FRANK artwork I've created is 600dpi and will print out at (roughly) actual size if printed at 100%. Use good paper as it's worth it!

If you are going to make your own, I would suggest you stick it onto the Jiffy with a little "slaphazard' mentality for authenticity! Post your pics for me have a gander at!

Here's another link to the PDF version of the TRON ARCADE SERVICE MANUAL so you can print out the desired pages from each drop if you desire (if you can find the reference images for each drop that is!)

Enjoy. G

PS. Next step - The Yellow shipping label. Good Scans/pics anyone?

Wow, I just looked on unfiction and there seems to be quite a bit of interest in this, Im hoping to get some significant updates posted this weekend.

Sorry I haven't been around to reply guys. Life is rather hectic here as of late (between planning out my costume for May and my girlfriend being pregnant, I've been quite busy). I can't find my measuring tape, so I'll have to run out to the store to pick up another one tomorrow (it's 3:18 AM right now here). Once I do, I'll get all the details posted on here right away.

HollowPoint. Wow man, do you have originals of all the ENDGAME swag? (shipping note, puzzle pages etc) as I desperately need some good close up pics to help me make replicas. Are you able to provide these? Thanks in advance or any help.

Awesome, take your time...

Sorry, guys. Here are the measurements.

The book is just a hair over 6" wide, 9 1/2" tall and 1 1/2" thick.

As far as the book cover itself goes, it is 21 1/2" wide and 9 1/2" tall.

Here are a few more pictures...

Also, as an added bonus, a completely unrelated, yet funny (at least to me) prank I was going to play at work until the managers found it....ha! (Kinda NSFW)

Also, I don't have all of the Digital Pulse swag, just the book. The guy who gave me the book also just divided up the swag right on the spot as there were alot of us who were there (but most showed up way late).

Great! Thanks a lot for the measurements. That was my biggest question so now this can start moving along.

Sorry guys, I've been very busy lately (yeah I know, you hear it a lot on this site) and haven't made many advancements on this. I'll probably still post my progress, but it will seem like a very random place that I stopped (a few missing letters and such).

HollowPoint. Thanks so much for the info. It was like the last piece of the jigsaw!

Darth. I will finish it off for you if you are busy!!! No problems. I also managed to recreate (as mentioned previously in this thread) the Dumont Shipping Frank Label and also the Shipping Receipt. I've also posted the PDF for the TRON ARCADE CABINET MANUAL. They're up for grabs here:

If you want any assistance with the cover, let me know, zip up the PShop files and post to MEGAUPLOAD and send me the link. If not, and you'd rather finish it, I look forward to your finished files. G

Just got back from printing a test run of the dust jacket. I think it's looking pretty good.

There are 3 versions of the book. The one D23 shows is never seen in the film. The "Digital Frontier" book seen on the TV monitor only has the binary code on the front of the cover with the words "The Digital Frontier" on the bottom. With no "Kevin Flynn" anywhere on the cover.

If there was a sense of imaginary history to these books. The D23 prop would be the 3rd published run of the book. Since Time Magazine is quoted on the bottom of the books back jacket. The one on the TV screen in the film is the first run- Since it has a giant ad behind it, and the one given away by 42e is the second published version- Since there is no review quote on the back.

Are you sure? Because if you look back on page 1, post #21, the screencap does have Kevin's name on the bottom.
