I was just reading up on the FAQ page on Threadless on how they choose the next shirts to do:
"We look at the top 300 designs every couple of weeks and pick out designs that we want to print based off of the design's overall score, comments, the number of "I'd Buy It!" scores, and of course, its general awesomeness. Ultimately the decision of which designs are printed is left up to us. The scoring system helps give us a general idea of which designs our customers want."

So really, the odds of this getting printed is not high. Sometimes a design could still get a lower score than another shirt, but the team up at Threadless probably like the one with the lower score better and could just choose to go with it. I have seen that happen before. They are pretty much the final judges of it all. If they like it, they print it. If not, they don't.
So now I'm trying not to get my hopes up on this one. That way I don't get too disappointed if it doesn't get chosen to be printed.

Well the scoring just ended. I got an average of 2.88 out of 5. I guess it's not bad for my first submission.
If they choose to do anything with my submission I guess they will let me know.

It looks like I still might have another chance on Theadless. It so happens a month after I submit my design to the site they start a "Tron Legacy" themed t-shirt design contest.
I could resubmit my design but I would have to make some changes to it. Color change and little movements of some elements on the t-shirt don't count.
Is there anything I could add or change to my design so I could resubmit my design.
- I was thinking making the ID disc on the back a little bit bigger.
- Maybe changing the color a little (I know it doesn't count as a major change)
- taking the one line off the back of the hood. It might be too difficult to get that printed on there.
Any other ideas? I could use some help please.
Have in mind too that I have until Friday (I think?) to resubmit a new design for the contest. And since I also have a full time job any really major redo's is not an option.

You usually also have to wait at least 3 months after you design finishes scoring and then you can ask to remove it from the Threadless site.
But since Threadless is having this "Tron Legacy" t-shirt design contest I figured I give it one more chance. I just have to make some changes here and there to my design so I can resubmit it again.
