Tron Legacy Costume Hoodie/tee (Last Day to Vote on Threadless!!!!)

What happened with this design... I know threadless missed on this awesome design and I want it!!!

Addidas designs suck to me to be honest. This is the only one I really like and I'm REALLY interested in having one of these.

Hard to believe this design got rated so low. The winning one is not quite my taste, putting it nicely. I thought this was a great design either way.

Man, the sad thing, is that later on down the road, some ******* is gonna see this, hire some other company to produce them, claim them as his own and profit off of it.

Sorry, I've been away for a while and I haven't been on this site for awhile.

I was really disappointed too that Threadless didn't go with my design. I really do not like the design they picked. The winning design only has 1 or 2 elements that have anything to do with Tron Legacy; the rest of the design has nothing to do with the movie. Just search Threadless for the winning design. I won't link to it just because I hate it so much. I was so disappointed that I put the project to the side and just let it be.

For me to print or make them myself it would be too time consuming, very difficult and costly. I don't really have the money or the time right now since I've been busy with other projects.

Your design is awesome, and it sucks it didn't get picked, but think of it this way...instead of being stuck with ****ty glow in the dark paint, with a little bit of effort and planning, you could make this design with with EL Tape and it would look cool as hell.

That sucks that it didn't get picked! I want one and would definitely buy it if you were to do a run (with all the interest, it might very well be worth the time and money!) and my friend also wants one.

I personally am tempted to buy a solid black hoodie and add reflective fabric/tape/heat transfer stuff to make it resemble Flynn's black robe/cloak thing. I'd also like to make one with your design, but I'm not one to steal design ideas without permission.
(that being said, would you mind if I borrowed your idea and made my own? I will absolutely NOT be profiting from it, just a personal thing, and may debut it at SDCC if I can go this year)

But again...you should seriously consider producing these and doing a run. Look at how many people support you and want to buy one! So cool!

Greetings programs, Inspired by HDDoobie's design I decided to make my own with glow in the dark heat transfer vinyl. He was right, mass screen printing this would be a challenge especially with various sizes, having the design wrap around the waist and shoulders is also tricky. I also added a hex pattern to the under arm area like the original costume. Maybe the next version will have lighting in it.
