tron costume please help

i was wanting to start a tron costume but i don't know where to start .
i don't wanna do the armor and i'm a beginner at this any advise will be good
also any links or help would be nice

Use a leather jacket and line it with EL wire if you are wanting something simple. Here are all my EL links.

can you cut EL tape without messing it up? i mean if the tape is too long

You can cut EL Tape in any segment you want, as long as you seal up the end of it, with electrical tape, or sealant tape. The stuff is pretty good to experiment with, especially if you want to try your hand at basic wiring, without blowing all your money on more expensive light-up material like Luminous Film.
