Trek TOS Wall Communicator - More Questions

So,

I've read through the threads here, and tried my Google-fu to naught. Has anyone ever drilled down what type of speaker grille was used in the wall communicators? I read the Roddenberry model, and it didn't tell the make, but did say that it was painted.

Any of you Trekkies got some insight?

Thanks,

Shawn

S-G301 looks like the cloth we use on Star Trek Continues/Starship Farragut. Sprayed silver.

That's hilarious the grille cloth would be on a guitar page! I have a Vox myself, and in high school, a Marshall. I was thinking it would be from one of those wedge-shaped intercom speakers that used to be everywhere back in the day.

Somebody refresh me. I thought I read somewhere that Greg Jein was, uh, the source of some consternation among the congregation awhile back. No?

Not that I recall, never heard a bad thing about him. Sure you're not thinking of Greg Stone?
