Had a lovely afternoon in the company of Bob Burns on Saturday. He and his wife are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and their stories are fantastic. She's just as creative as any of us too - as we chatted, she was busy matting her photographs amidst Terminator Tank parts. Heh.

You can't even begin to imagine the amount of amazing things in this wonderful collection:

Naked Lunch.

You were in LA and didn't call? :(

Neat stuff. I have to get myself to Bob's basement one day myself...

- Gabe

P. S. Are you pickin' on my thread? :p

You're in LA too? And here I thought I was just unintentionally snubbing Venkman and Darcjedi :(

My schedule was pretty tight unfortunately - but I can always come back, you know? I did get to have dinner with John DeLancie though, which was pretty cool.

LA is BIIG, too.

Hey Jason

I´m sooo jealous.... :eek

Would you be able to share some detailed pics of the Alien sidearm???
It´d be much appreciated :D

Markus :)

I was just visiting friends in the area - but I do have a 3 foot dropship of my own :D

So I took a lot of pics of the landing gear for my own project.

Dunno if it's real or not - looks like a stunt, and is either dense resin or petrified rubber - hard and heavy.

im still working on weathering that damned glove :lol

appreciate the dedication though :)

man, bob has some cool stuff. any other pieces of that x-wing laying around? i cant really imagine a diorama setup for it but its still something i never gave thought to someone actually owning.

the typewriter is my fav piece out of the pics though.

Y'know, those of us in LA should get a group together and see if we can buy Bob lunch or dinner or something and get a tour.

Whaddya think?

Steve
